Open the Gates Gaming is a research project aimed to improve the cognitive accessibility of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. It is a funded project that designs, playtests, and improves upon a series of printed tools to enhance the playing experience for neurodivergent TTRPG players. Some of their most notable successes include giving out a set of playing cards at OAX East 2025, of which they were one of the few projects that focused on accessibility. This is my contribution to this wonderful mission.
